Thrivent Financial Gift Match - Supporting Hurricane Victims

THANK YOU for your financial gifts to aid those most affected by the recent hurricanes in the US!

You donated $2,281, and the BOD added another $1,000 from the Mission/Compassion fund.  St. Luke sent $3,281 to Thrivent Financial (distributed through Lutheran Disaster Relief) and Thrivent matched $1 for every $2 received.  The total impact provided was $4,921.50!

2024 YOUTH NIGHTS

We hope to see your tweens and teens at our bi-monthly Youth Nights!  All Sunday youth nights will run from 5 pm - 7 pm, unless otherwise indicated. We partner with Trinity Lutheran Conklin, and Grace Lutheran Coopersville teens.  Your kids are most welcome, and encouraged to invite their friends.

2025 LCMS SR HIGH YOUTH GATHERING – New Orleans

Held every 3 years, the LCMS Youth Gathering provides thousands of youth the opportunity to come together to learn more about Jesus Christ, the Christian faith and their Lutheran identity.  During the Gathering, youth spend time together in God’s Word, worship, service and fellowship with others from across the synod. 

Registration for all St. Luke participants has been sent!  Hotel, travel, and meal costs are not included in the registration fee, and we are considering what fundraisers to assist in the next phase of costs. .   We are looking for fundraiser ideas to help, should you have tried-and-true options.

CARE CABINET

St. Luke offers shelf-stable food and health / hygiene / cleaning supplies to the greater Nunica community. Located in the main entry of the church (on 2nd Street), the Care Cabinet is open 24/7.  

Our Care Cabinet is 100% donation-driven.  Please, take as you need and give if you can! Items to consider donating:
