2025 LCMS Senior High Youth Gathering was AMAZING!

Our Senior High Youth and leaders traveled to the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans! They spent their time together in God’s Word, worship, service and fellowship with 20,000 others from across the synod. Their elected service project was to pack meals through The Orphan Grain Train.  They packed 1,296 meals in 30 minutes!!!

We are so grateful to our generous church members for their donations during our fundraisers over the last 12+ months! All attendees were able to experience this event without having to self-fund.  God is so good!

Junior High 2024 Youth Gathering

The Michigan District, LCMS Junior High Youth Gathering 2024 was all about the MESS! God’s mess?! It’s true! When we look at God’s plan for His people and their salvation—His Son being born as a regular human baby, touching the messy/untouchable, dying bloody on the cross—it all looks messy … that is, until we look at our own lives. We ARE certainly a MESS in our sin and shame. But God reached into that mess and showed us His great love and mercy, reconciling us to Himself through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Our junior high students, and chaperones, travelled to Frankenmuth to gather with hundreds of other Lutheran youth from Michigan.  This 3-day event was so much fun and we look forward to the next Junior High Gathering!
