What to Expect

Our Sunday worship service begins at 9:00 am.

In worship, we receive God's gifts in many and various ways. When we confess our sins, we receive forgiveness from the pastor as if from God himself. We hear God's Word proclaimed—what he's done in the past and how he continues to work in our lives today. And at the high point of our service, we  receive forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation in Holy Communion. Those who have been confirmed in the Lutheran church and believe Communion to be the true Body and Blood of Jesus Christ are welcome to receive this great gift. If you have further questions or are visiting, please speak to an elder or the pastor before communing. Surrounding these core elements of worship, we also sing God's praises and bring our prayers and offerings before God. The Divine Service usually lasts about an hour.

We love children here at St. Luke. Our faith is strengthened and encouraged when our sanctuary is filled with children learning from their parents and following along in the service. We include the children in our service with a special message specifically geared toward them every week, and once a month while Sunday School is in session, the kids will sing a song or play the handbells as a part of the service. If you are still unsure about bringing children who might get too noisy, we also offer a cry room in the rear of the sanctuary with a window looking out over the church. We provide a changing table, toys and coloring books, and a curtain in case you'd like a little more privacy.

To get connected to St. Luke, just come and worship with us. Talk with the pastor or any of our members before or after worship and you will find a great church, ready to help you get connected. We'd love to have you come to Bible Study, which is held every Sunday right after worship in the fellowship hall.

There is a large parking lot on the west side of the church and wheelchair accessible parking at the main entrance.

Please come and join us!
